http://www.pdapro.co.uk/insideout.htm

I've always felt that the most intriguing part of this obsession for Pocket PCs that we all share is the people who continue to create this market. It's the entrepreneurs, the risk-takers that really keep the products and content fresh.

The PDA Pro Web site has been publishing a series called "Inside Out," which includes monthly interviews with some of these people, helping us to get to know what makes them "tick." This month, they've interviewed Bill Dettering, the founder of the fabulous Mazingo content service. In this interview, you'll find Bill's answers to such questions as:

• Can you explain how Mazingo came to be created?
• How do you see electronic publishing progressing in the next 12-24 months?
• What else would you like Mazingo to offer?

While you're at the PDA Pro site, take a look at the other interviews, too. I wish they could be just a little bit longer, though, because they really end up whetting my appetite for more insight from these industry leaders.

Doesn't he look kind of like Dennis Leary?

Hi Brad

Thanks for the mention.

The length of the articles depends largely on the people who are responding. Alex was happy to create comprehensive answers whereas Bill was short and to the point. I guess this might in some way reflect the subject's personalities or if the sandwich girl was in the lobby!

Also, I wonder how much people will take on when reading on-line?

I've got to find my next "victim" so I will ruminate on creating more questions.

Thanks again.

Exactly! Great article! Mazingo, in my opinion, not only excels in content, but in customer service as well! Here's hoping they have stellar growth this year. I had started a thread on Customer Service - who's the best, and Mazingo has proven they are the best!

Please don't take my comments as real criticism. I guess my point was that the articles were engaging and made me want to learn more about the subjects. I look forward to next month's installment.

Hi Brad

I don't take it as criticism, but as a sign that I've hit an idea that's taken off and everybody wants more of it. My problem is finding people to get involved.

BTW, what's your involvement in PDAs
