This question was originally posted in another thread comparing the use of BlueTooth and WiFi that got locked due to...well we won't get into that here.

If you have a printer that's BlueTooth enabled, and a PC that's BlueTooth enabled, and a PDA that's BlueTooth enabled, and both the PDA and the PC start a print job who controls the communication? Does a BlueTooth printer have additional hardware to handle two (or three, or four) devices competing at once? Can a BlueTooth device talk to more than one other device at a time anyway?

I understand how WiFi works in this scenario because it is just an ethernet replacement, there just aren't any cables, and each device has an IP address so it's no different than any other ethernet network. I know next to nothing about BlueTooth, however, and am wondering about just how functional a BlueTooth PAN is. :?:
