Yes, it looks like an "updated" eVEST is coming out soon. From the press info, it looks like the major additions are an in-collar hood, earbud pockets, ID holder and magnets to keep the eVEST closed. There also may be some additional colors available.

I'm still trying to find out exactly when the new version will be launched, but I'll pass on the word when I find out. You can decide whether the new features are worth waiting a little while, but with the discount that Scott has offered Thoughts readers, it's really tempting to jump on this bargain right now.

Version 2.5 will be available very soon! If you want to preorder, we are accepting them. If you want to return unused Version 2.0 with tags on, you can do so within 14 days of purchase. But both versions are good.
