Contest
We are looking for a new Pocket Database logo and / or logo for the Database Repository to coincide with our launch of the all-new version 5.0.
- With the Pocket Database logo, we are looking for something that radiates speed, power, flexibility, etc, something on the cutting edge, though all entries will be judged on their own merit.
- The Database Repository will be the home of what we hope will be an ever increasing source of useful databases and templates designed specifically for Pocket Database.
There are no design restrictions whatsoever, so just let the creative juices roll. You may or may not include the version number (5.0) in your design, but realize that would make it incompatible with future upgrades. If you wish, you may submit one with the version number and one without.
You may choose to submit one or both of the logos, but both will be judged separately, with the winner of each category receiving the benefits described below.

Why you should enter
- You will be internationally promoted and held in the highest regard from your peers.
- Your name / design company will appear in the About screen of Pocket Database 5.0 and you will be given credit on our web site.
- A brand new copy of the most current version of Pocket Database, along with free upgrades for life.
- Our honest and sincere appreciation and thanks.
Contest Rules
- Entries should be submitted in a non-lossy format such as a bitmap, though a Photoshop .psd file is preferable.
- Artwork must be the work of the submitter. The submitter must own the rights to the work free and clear.
- All submissions become the exclusive property of Pocket Innovations, to be used at our discretion.
- All entries must be submitted by August 1st, 2002.
- E-mail your entry to [email protected]. Enter as many logos as you like. The more the merrier. No need to enter the same logo more than once. This isn't a drawing.
- The prize will be awarded to the best entry whether the winning entry becomes the actual Pocket Database logo or not. The final logo design may be a composite of ideas from various sources.
- Entries will be judged on representation of the concept of Pocket Database, suitability to intended use, and practical application.
