I will be participating in Blogathon 2002 (http://www.blogathon.org) ! What is that, you ask? On July 27th from 6am PST (that's 9am for me), for 24 hours, I will post a new entry to Web McDeb (http://www.mcdeb.com) every 30 minutes. I've selected the American Cancer Society as the charity that I will be blogging for. To spice it up a bit, I will be posting a new Pocket PC theme every hour on the hour. No, I will not have them made up in advance. I will be making and posting themes for 24 hours straight!! I plan to install a web cam and a chat room for the event as well.
Here's where I need your help. I need sponsors!! It's very easy. Just click HERE (http://www.blogathon.org/sponsor.php?part=1121) or on the sidebar graphic on my site (http://www.mcdeb.com) to sponsor Web McDeb. You can pledge a set amount, or an amount per hour. You send no money now. Once the big event is over, you will be contacted by the Blogathon with instructions to send in your pledged donation to the American Cancer Society.
A close friend of mine was recently diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas. His condition is inoperable and not curable. I've been struggling with this helpless feeling ever since. It seemed that there was nothing I could do to help him. Now I'm excited because I have found something that I can do. Your support is greatly appreciated.
