BeOS is a cool and extremely powerful OS! also was BeIA, they are pretty dead now that they belongs to palm :(
anyway, in the days of the IA boom, compaq had agreements with BeIA, dont remember if they released the product or not...
id really want to know if someone knows something about BeIA because it can run on strongarms, it will be neat just see it running ! on a PPC! :)
i know is just stupid now, but id like to hear from someone if they had access to this!
thanks ppl! :P
we'd probably have to look to the ol' BeOS sites for info on this... perhaps you could twist some developer's arm that has access to the new/unreleased builds... blah, blah.
let me know if you ever hear of anything.

Doubt there's a version out there... plus you'd have problems finding compatible software with the resolution change and all... getting pocket pc back on it is another story 8O
Maybe they've mutated BeIA into Palm OS 6? :D

:( they are using beos ip and incorporating this on to palm os 6.... perhaps some neat algorithms.. but thats all....
BeIA was an amazing os.. but is pretty dead now... perhaps... we have some hope when openbeos [/url]www.openbeos.org gets mature enough we can start thinkind on a pda os! 8)

Well, if anyone would know where to find one it would probably be these guys! (http://www.homenetappliance.com/newbeiazone.html)
For me, I got really interested when I saw this (http://www.homenetappliance.com/pages/Angrysgallery.html), and I would assume, being a big company like Whirlpool that a few of these have to exist somewhere out there.

Yeah, I think BeIA is pretty much dead, but, how would you feel about buying a Palm?
I would figure some pretty significant parts of BeIA will be integrated into PalmOS 6 since they bought all of Be's assets and took most of the Be programmers.
Just goes to show, if Palm is going to beat the PocketPC, it will be with PalmOS6 (as opposed to the disgrace of an OS called PalmOS5)
