Just wanted everyone to know that i released my program called Web2PDA. It's a program that extract Web Forums (such as VBulletin, Invision Board, etc.) web pages and reformat them in simple html pages optimized for viewing on a PDA (such as Palm OS, Pocket PC or Linux-based PDA).

NOTE: The phpBB board support is not ready yet. It's on my priority list however...

It consist of 2 separate parts: a set of JSP (Java Server Pages) that must run on a server for online browsing and a java console application that retrieve the pages for offline browsing.

This software is completely free and is released under the GPL license. The source code is also available. Here's the link:

The console application runs alone on the client machine but the JSP pages needs a web server. I would appreciate if someone could host these pages on their server. Just email me at [email protected]. Here is a link to a temporary site where you can see what the JSP pages are like. This site is very slow and will probably shut down if there is too much traffic.

If there are any developpers who want to join the project that would be great. Here's the link to the sourceforge project:

I'm waiting for your comments :),
