http://www.laridian.com/ce/catmemorize.asp

I know that a lot of you, like me, use Laridian's Pocket Bible on your Pocket PC. I personally think it's the best Bible software that I've seen. Well, now Laridian has some new software to help with memorizing Bible verses.

Memorize! integrates completely with Pocket Bible and is designed to make learning Bible passages as easy as possible. With Memorize! you can search for verses, keep track of which ones you've learned, and even test yourself to make sure you've really "got it."

I didn't see any kind of demo available on the Laridian site, but for $9.99 I'm thinking it just might be worth buying on a "leap of faith."

CEBible is an original development that fills one of the needs of the modern Christian - having God's word, the Bible, readily available wherever you go. I used to carry around a paper-based planner, and I was able to locate a New Testament Bible that would fit in the front cover of my planner. Unfortunately, when I changed to a Windows® CE Handheld PC for my schedule, I no longer had room for my Bible. As there were no Bible products available for this relatively new platform, I decided to develop CEBible.

I've been very impressed by both the selection and quality of Laridian software products. I own a variety of their Pocket PC offerings and have no complaints.

I've been very pleased with Laridian, especially their customer support. Several times, Craig Rairdin, the president, has reponded. Overall, high quality products and great support. Translated...I'll probably add this one to my Laridian collection. :)

Important for those times when you don't have a Bible on hand and are performing outreach/evangelical missions. Besides anyway: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." KJV 2Ti:2:15

Bible memorization is important for any Christian who wants to have a close relationship with their Creator. If the Bible were just a book that was on the NY Times bestseller list, memorization would be a little odd. But the Bible is the Book, written by people, but inspiried by God. In addition, Jesus (whom Christians try to model their life after) frequently quoted the Old Testament (the "Bible" of that time).
Try it sometime! I promise the Bible will change you!
