Snoopsoft Dashboard causing irreversible crashes in 38xx

hey, guys,
just wondering if anyone had any experience with the Snoopsoft Dashboard 1.4x, not the version that came with the iPAQ CD. I was running one for a few months and I had to say that it wasnt really stable. It causes numerous hangs that couldn't be solved by soft reset and I had to do uninstalls and reinstalls to fix the problem. I also read two posts somewhere else saying that it actually causes hangs that required people to do HARD reset!

Just wondering if you knew anything about this problem and if the version on iPAQ CD was especially modified by Compaq to address the issue.

Have you used the version found on Compaqs website. There is a problem witht the version on the CD's

All version of Dashboard cause problem I find... personally I would stay away from it !

And once you install it, it takes a hard reset to remove it. I still can't get all of Compaq's 1.2D release off my 3835.

i did not have a problem with it myself, for the 2 days i had it installed. i used gigabar for my 36xx ipaq but thought i'd give dashboard a go when i bought my 38xx and didn't like it so i'm back to gigabar.
