http://www.gtony.com/pocketgphone/pgphonedetails.htm

Does Voice over IP have a bright future? Some companies remain convinced it does, and they seem to be getting better at tackling the latency and quality issues that have plagued the format for years. PocketGphone is a freeware application that lets you experiment with this technology. Great UI, but the freeware version is limited in quite a few ways - they seem to be targeting enterprise customers with this since only the enterprise version allows you to adjust network quality settings, etc. Still, might be fun to play with.

"PocketGphone brings high speed and quality Voice chatting to the PDA. Gtony has developed the same VoIP technology as PC gphone, now integrated into a PDA solution. PocketGphone can be used as a method for limitless voice communication over wireless devices. You can talk through your PDA under a Wireless LAN environment such as an office, warehouse, parking lot or any hot spots where a wireless LAN is available. It can work like a mobile phone except your calls are free."
