This projector might be for you if you dislike the array of cables you have to fool with.

NEC LT260 WiFi Projector

NEC is releasing a series of projectors in the coming months that can greatly reduce or even eliminate the cables. "Adding to the lineup of projectors in its LT Series, the new 6.5-pound models include the LT220, LT240 and LT260, and are the first to feature the NEC ImageXpress wireless-networking option. Using Wi-Fi (short for "wireless fidelity") wireless networking, NEC has eliminated the need for cables, which cuts down on the hassle and time required for setup. These projectors can display in real time what's shown on a PC screen, using either a Wi-Fi wireless connection or a wired 10 Base T Ethernet local area network connection." Ahhhh... WiFi - a working wireless solution. Thanks to Tim Fields for the heads up.

Doono Ed. Have you tried it your self? Are you SURE it works? I woldn't be too sure it works untill you try it your self. Haven't we heard this before with WiFi? I'm not sure I trust somting that travels as far a WiFi for security reasons. Dont get me wrong. I'm all for WiFi. Excpecialy with how manny acess points are wide open. Free Traveling Inet acess I look at it as... Or even free beta copys of you fav local software company (Its amazing what companys (Includeing banks (Bank Of America, Yeah, Im bitter at Compaq and the Bank for giving me the shaft.. Try central offices or the WHQ(For those who live in SF)... Youll be amazed) leave there acess points wide open.) If someone it gonna try and acess my damn phone, I want them to be near me. Decreases the chance of them finding me. And if they manage to gain acess and I notice, I can kick there a**...

WiFi has there uses. I'm just not sure its ment for personal devices. Im not sure I want my projector to be hijacked if I am giving a speach. Whats the odds? Donno... But Ive hijaked a whiteboard as a prtical joke while my boss was giving a demo to the teachers.

Has anyone heard of combining bluetooth with slide show projectors? I would love to make presentations with my Ipaq3970, wireless and w/o WiFi. Is this concievable?
