I know that I am one of the few who access this and other content with a slow (26k) connection, but is anyone else impacted by the steady increase in graphic sizes on the main page.
Today, I noticed that a 277k image was simply one of many larger images bringing things to a crawl... a lot of 80-something k images to the point that it took several minutes to get anything beyond the first topic to display.
Took a look at one of the banner panels and it was 32k alone. I would really like to keep the images turned on here and would plea to keep them reasonable for mobile connects.
