Anyone else notice that Ipaq 3835 prices are dropping?

I've got myself signed up with PC World's price watch alert. And consistently, I've gotten emails this and last week saying that the targeted price of $500 for an Ipaq 3835 has been routinely beaten.

Latest price I was sent was $475.

I find this interesting right after the merger of HP/Compaq.

But, that's just my .02.

Yup, this corresponds to the rumors that the 3600 and 3700 series will be discontinued and new 3900 units coming out in late June/July.
