I expect this Java centric architecture is going to happen in Nokia mobile phones too, not too far from today. Symbian is not the target for Nokia but Java. Today there are soft cores and even hard cores based on Java that do not need underlaying os. I think we are going to see more pdas like this one in the future.

As the un-proud owner of a Kyocera phone, I wouldn't lose sleep over this entry in the PDA market. If a Kyocera PDA battery is as good as the one in my model 2235 phone, the thing wouldn't run long enough to read your e-mail. :x
