I have had an iPaq H3635 for a little over a year. One of the guys that works upstairs from me has a shiney new HP Jornada 568. I've been eyeing it pretty closely. I checked out www.mysimon.com (http://www.mysimon.com), my usual shopping place, and noticed a HP Jornada 567. I have looked at a couple of descriptions of it and cannot find any difference between it and the 568, other than the price that is.

Can someone tell me if there is a difference?

Thanks in advance for your help.

hi -

there is no difference except price. The 567's are shipped to internet resellers, 568's are sold in the stores.

Other than that, there may be a few software differences, but I think you can straighten that out by going on line at HP.

Yes, there are some differences other than that one is sold online and one is sold in stores.

The 568 (and 565) are meant to be sold in retail outlets, and that can be either online or in stores. They have extra software with them too, such as CodeWallet by Developer One.

The 567 (and 564) are only mostly sold in online outlets, and don't come with that extra software that the others have. I don't know this for sure, but I would think that that's why the price is lower: not as many licensing fees. These devices are mostly meant for the corporate setting, though they are just as useful to the average consumer too (with the exception of not having that software).
