http://www.sendo.com/news/newsitem.asp?ID=55

Lucky you all attending the Microsoft Mobility Developer Conference in London today! Head over to Sendo's booth and see some wireless fun! Sendo announced yesterday a number of upcoming entertainment applications for the Z100 smartphone. Games include Ideaworks3D's "Rebound!", Incagold's "Slamtilt", Versaly’s "The Untouchables Pin Ball", the arcade classic "Defender", and business applications like Word, PowerPoint and Excel viewers.

Don't think that's happy enough? Well, expect yet another twenty Smartphone titles in 2002 from Hexacto! These include a multiplayer Casino game, "Tennis Addict", etc.

Smiling a little? Well, here's more! Pixel Technologies throws in multiplayer Chess, Checkers, Poker, Spades, Backgammon and Reversi for the Smartphone!

More graphics, better graphics!? Sure! Fathammer will make available their X-Forge™ 3D Game Engine to the Smartphone 2002 platform and we'll also see a multimedia Java platform available which opens up a path for Amiga Anywhere entertainment content to the Smartphone! All you gamers must be all happy by know! I am! There's more for business users! I already mentioned Word, Excel and Powerpoint viewers. There are ZIP and PDF viewers coming onboard as well! You'll even see a foldable keyboard for the Smartphone 2002 on the market soon.

The only thing that would make me happier now, is having my own Sendo Z100! (Thanks to Bart Pelgrims for sending in the link and making me smile!)

I don't get it... a keyboard for a phone? I thought that even the Pocket PC display was too small for serious work. Who wants to do more than entering a few bits of info on a smartphone?

I really love the look of that phone. Very nice.

The fun part is I'll be trading in my Nokia 8210 for something this year, so I get to start looking around at the range of next gen phones out there.

Amiga Anywhere? Is that company being revived or has my head been in the sand for awhile?
