i've been looking around to find a fax program for Pocket PC. I have a Pretec Modem, and have found only two programs, KSE's TruFAx, and BSquare's FaxPro 5 (which I can't seem to buy). Any tips?
Also, has anyone else noticed how hard it is to find and buy software for Pocket PC? Even the Software stores are a multipage adventure! When you include how hard it is to find a given program, this can be a frustrating process.

Well, if you found KSE TrueFax 2.0, you found the only fax program you need. It sends and receives faxes flawlessly, and has behaved every bit as well as I could have hoped. Just my opinion... but have a look at my review once PocketNow gets over whatever hiccup it is currently suffering.

Thanks for the reply on the subject of fax programs. I was holding off on buying TruFax because I had a form I made on Excel to send into to our office. We are redoing the form, and it probably won't be in Excel, so TruFax will work. I'm not a genius at this, but I can see how you can't fax Excel sheets due to the lack of being able to define a workspace or print area with the PocketPC. I did download and use the trial version, and it worked fine.

Gerard, is there a way to use truefax with a cell phone as the modem?
I am using truefax 2.0, iPAQ 3600, LG TP5250 Cell phone on Sprint network, I do have the supplynet cable to connect up the ipaq and cell phone. It seems to hang on the modem initialization string. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong?
