I was almost in tears after the first two paragaphs. I am pretty sure they were tears of laughter. ;-) Thanks again (I think) to Brandon^2 for the link.

Should I start a PayPal donation bucket for Pocket PC Therapy? I think I may be seeing a trend here...

Fortunately I made it through the 5 days by writing the first article and scheming how to rebuild her, better, faster, stronger...

Really, I'm much better now.

I went back and read the first article again (I needed the laugh). Then I read the latest post. PRICELESS!

Too, TOO funny (albeit, in a creepy "where is reality and where is fiction" sort of way)!

"Donation Bucket"? Back up the truck, man!

Great articles. I could easily identify with RickP's anxiety. I thought I was the only sick puppy.

Great job look forward reading more.

Well, Airborne just picked up my iPAQ for the backlight repair about an hour ago, and already I'm feeling lonely and thinking of taking up smoking for the first time. Is there such a thing as an "iPAQ patch" we can wear to help with the withdrawal symptoms?

Brad,
Among the things that I did was to pour over old copies of PocketPC Magazine. I'd sit and gaze for endless hours at the colorful pictures...

It's not much but it's better than smoking.

Rick, do you realize you are somehow managing to type those thoughts that are probably best left unsaid? ;-)

No offence Rick, but those articles are totally wrong! (I don't know if people know, but that might just be an Australian saying... It kind of means disturbing or not good when used in this context).

Daniel,
Believe me, my wife and family think it's a bit "wrong" just how attached I am to this thing. But it will soon spread, I spent Wed. morning helping my old friend from high school pick out a Jornada and stuff for her husband's birthday. It was *really* fun spending $800US of someone else's money, even if the toys weren't for me.

(BTW She's the one I'm losing the smoking bet with.)

Well, I kind of know how you feel, my wife is never impressed with the amount of nerdy things I'm into. I've spent around US$1500 on all my PPC related gear alone.
I do love my PPC, but your articles (although very funny) gave me mental images that I really didn't need (I don't picture things graphically however so it wasn't a real problem or anything). ;)

Yes, I would also prefer to spend other peoples money. That's what credit cards are for aren't they? ;)

Sorry Daniel, I truly didn't mean to offend.

It was very funny reading. I actually sketched pictures of my ipaq while I waited for it to be delivered to me.
