<a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=ed+hansberry">http://www.google.com/search?q=ed+hansberry</a><br /><br />To be ranked #1 in Google when you type in my name. For years <a href="http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/corhans.htm">Lorrainne Hansberry</a>, a playwright from the 1950's, was always above my name (usually about 20 times) because the word "ed." would almost always appear on a site about her referring to editor. No longer. Numero 1 and 2 at google. I'm #6 at AltaVista, but who cares about AV. ;-)<br /><br />Thanks Jason! And to all the readers... you love me.... you really really love me..... (hey... this is not near as pathetic as <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=780">this thread</a>... is it?)

Why does the thought of Ed searching Google on a daily basis to determine his self-worth not surprise me in the least?

Congrats Ed but if I can be #1 @ google (and I am a nobody) then anyone can be number one. All kidding aside though, it's pretty cool to top Lorrainne @ least in a Google search. :)

Unless there are others with your name. Look up "Jason Dunn" on Google - there's a large football player named "Jason Dunn" and for the longest time he dominated in the search engines. Now I'm usually #1. Woo hoo! ;-)

I just checked, and I take position 1 til 36 or something. Sometimes it pays off to have a weird name. :)

The guy plays loud music, does drugs, chases women, and has wild parties.... Hmmm come to think of it I think the guy in the picture does to.

Hey Ed,
If the first 10 I've got 8 of them! I don't do Glocks and I don't know about the blue one either! A bunch of my references are thanks to Jason! Maybe we ought to get Jason to post all of our names in one long list. Then we'll all be famous for a day!

Yes. It's Spinal Tap's Nigel Tufnel. I figured that if Jason took a comic character, and Ed his favorite car, I'd take one of my all time favorite movie characters.
And Paragon: your price is the ability to officially download some of their great songs like Hell Hole and Big Bottom from http://www.spinaltap.com/mp3s.html . ;)

'Samija' gets me #1 on Yahoo! and Google. Cool. Guess folks must be visiting my little site. :) Funny that my own site gets fewer results than my reviews on PocketNow though...
BTW; Thanks tons for the Spinal Tap links!!!

(Reply inspired by this thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20709).)
I fill most of the first page of results of a search for "Dave Beauvais" (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22dave+beauvais%22&btnG=Google+Search) -- including the number one spot -- and also found quite a few references to me on the next several pages. Some of them refer to another Dave Beauvais, but most of it is all me, baby! ;)
It's always a little freaky to find something you wrote over a decade ago archived in some deep, distant database. :) There were also a couple results from the McGraw-Hill site where a friend of mine imortalized me in a series of Microsoft Office college textbooks. :)
