This means that I am not alone with my broken Touch Screen... What do you recommend I should do? (Other than through away my iPAQ) :?:

I haven't laughed that good in days. It's probably only that humerous because it holds some quality of truth for most of us. I had to have mine repaired about 3 months ago, and missed it most of the time it was gone.

I sent her away on Fri 3/29 at 12:39pm and received it back yesterday (Wed. 4/3) at 1:26pm... The most excruciatingly painful separation since my wife went to Salt Lake City for 3 days on a business trip. (She and I are *never* apart... and my wife and I spend all our time together too.)
Fortunately my wife is very understanding and realizes that my love for the iPAQ does not in anyway diminish my love for *her*. (Just a bit of pronoun juggling there.)
Now we are back together and all is well in the universe. I'm so giddy that I have even lost my roving eye when I pass by Jornadas or when someone utters the word "Xscale."

My iPaq had the "screen wander" problem. I put up with it for ages thinking that a repair would be a major hassle (plus I couldn't remember if it was still under warranty or not!).
Eventually rang Compaq - explained about not being sure on the warranty - "oh yes it is sir" they said. Man arrived to collect it that afternoon and it was back inside a couple of days - plus they'd changed the battery. Didn't cost me anything. First class service.
ps Wish I hadn't waited so long!

Now you had to go and make me feel bad for spending all that money? Shh.. Just don't let my wife know that I could have gotten it for free... Oh well, at least now I have 64MB of RAM to play around with. :-)
