I just read Brad's post <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=654">"My, What Big Thumbs You Have..."</a>. Isn't obvious that thumbs take a beating nowadays?<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/smsisdangerous.jpg" /><br /><br />The picture is taken from an ad by the Swedish mobile services company <a href="http://www.halebop.se">Halebop</a>. They offer "all-U-can-eat" SMSing for US$5 per week, which seems to be a dangerous offer!?

Hehehe.

Filipinos have something better than that... calluses.

Filipinos are the fastest texters and can even text without looking at the keys.

Beat that!

Record holder for the most SMS messages sent... the Philippines...

Nothing great but it is fun and cheap really... we used to have unlimited text messages for US$2 a month... beat that.

Man, I wish we had cheap prices like this in the States. Carriers are getting freaking rich off this stuff here. But it goes to show just how cheap it can be while still offering carriers a nice profit. Its pathetic what carriers get away with over here.

I think we should not only have unlimited data, but unlimited cellular plans for a flat fee, as well.

Andy, what about snap-on keyboard for mobile phones? Available for your Swedish Ericsson phones! Having such keyboard no problem for thumbs!

Also nokia communicators are superb for SMSing...
