I have a Maestro and love it except it only has 32MB memory and want to save that for program memory. Is there any difference in speed between onboard memory, CF, or SD. Any advantage keeping programs on one as opposed to another?

On board memory is a little faster and will always "play nice" with programs you may want to load. Truth of the matter is that you're not going to notice a large differece if you place a few programs and files in RAM, but then again its your Maestro and not mine :)

The general line of thought is to put all of your "always need'um, but not in ram" files on the SD card (which may be marginaly faster than the CF slot) leaving the CF open for non memory cards and larger cards with movie stuff or MP3s.
