:?: You hear the humming noice coming from the Pocket PC or the charger unit? I've never heard anything like that coming from the device itself.

Does the device seem to get excessively hot when you're charging it?

It does get hot yes, but im not sure about excessively hot as i dont have anything to compare it with though it does get quite hot. And i think its the plug that makes the noise, i just dont want the whole unit to get fried.

Your device will warm up a bit when charging; as long as it's not uncomfortable to touch, you should be okay.

Also, if you can confirm that the humming is coming from the "brick" end of the charger, you don't have to worry. That buzz is the sound of your household current being stepped down to the voltage your device needs.
