i have a casio em-500 and i'm very happy with it but the limitation of accessories is bugging me. i'm thinking about getting the audiovox one to replaced it. should i do that or wait for xscale processor one ? at $299.00 that audiovox is very tempting ?

There isnt a large amount of accessories out for the Audiovox/Toshiba unit either, so I think you'd be somewhat dissapointed. Save your money, I'd say, and wait for the XScales to come to the market - at the very least, you'd be better served with the faster processor... I think with the new generation of PPCs, accesories will be more forthcoming as well (due to their market presence).

Exactly what kind of accessories are you looking for?

Anyway, I too own an EM-500 and don't really feel the urge quite yet to upgrade. The one thing that I am happy about is that most of the new PPCs have SD slots, so my 128 meg will be useful when I eventually do upgrade.

I'll probably be visiting Japan this summer and can't wait to see what is available by then. I might just have to upgrade at that time :D
