I checked the HP website.. and the only 802.11b PC Card they have listed that has been tested with the PC Card Adapter is their own HP brand for close to $200 bucks! Ouch! Will a Linksys Wireless card or something more reasonable than $181 dollars work with the Jornada 560 PC Card Adapter?

Much Appreciated!

The Linksys PCMCIA PC Card will work using the Compaq IPAQ WiFi drivers on the Jornada 56x and PC Card adapter. Clipped from a discussion group:

"for linksys on the win ce 4.0 use wL100 compaq drivers
but here is the tricky part. After installation it will ask you the name of
the drivers type in "wl100nds.dll" and you'll be rockin"

I've done this and it works...your mileage may vary. I really like the Symbol WiFi CF card though...it works great too!

Good luck. I bought a CF 802.11b card ($115) and its great. No battery drain at all. I hope the PCMCIA ones work well for you.
