[b]Speaker noise[/b]

Just purchased a new 568. Despite turning off the speaker, the device makes poping/cracking noises. I thought I remember hearing that this was a software problem. Does anyone know of a patch or should I return the device for a new one?

HP released a patch quite a while ago for this...look here. If the link doesn't work, go to www.hp.com, click on the drivers and downloads section and enter "HP Jornada 568" in the search box. Make sure you have a 568 vs a 567 as they use different firmware updates.
