http://www.stardock.com/products/PocketBlinds

Ian Hanschen, of Stardock Software has informed us that sometime this week (according to the first law of computer coding* presumably) Stardock will be releasing Version 1.0 of their Pocket Blinds software that allows complete skinning of the Pocket PC GUI. Cool Stuff!

Version 1.o will include the following features:
•Task Manager
•Toolbar skinning
•Button skinning
•Menu bar skinning
•Top-Bar freeform skinning
•Plug-in support
•Easy access volume control, even on Pocket PC
•Easy to make skins for with Skin Studio.
•Incredibly fast performance

*The first law of computer coding states that any coding project will take twice as long as you expect, and is of course followed by the second law of computer coding which states that the first law also applies in circumstances where release dates have been calculated in accordance to the first law. Looks cool on their site, but the pic doesn't show up here Sam.

As for 2002 support, I would think it would work since they say for "Win CE 3.x or later (Pocket PC). That should cover Pocket PC 2002, but I don't know about the notification icons.

I saw that as well. Working on CE3 devices really does not say much about PocketPC. If it obliterates the notification icons, than it really is not a PPC2002 solution as it would over-ride much of what I think is better from PPC2k.
