im interested in pickin up the socket phone card that connects ur cell phone and ur pocket pc so u can go on the internet.... anyone hav one of these? whats ur experience w/ it? i kno speeds arent great but is it tolerable? does it require an isp? any info would be great... ty

got 2 tidbits for you

1. use only print pcs and voicestreams' istream. sprint charges you by the minute and istream charges you by the MB you download. both are reasonable priced

2. they are both very slow for web browsing but good for email and IMs so use it for that mainly

As you can see from there, all you need is to select the apropiate cellphone no matter what company. As soon as you have a cellphone with data capability (intenal modem) you are all set.

In my case I use AT&T basic plan + and Ericsson R289LX. The speed for browsing Internet is not so good but for emails is great. If you buy a cellphone with GPRS capabilities the seed would be nice.
