Enfora calls the modem: the Enfora Enabler. The Enfora Enabler will run on a number of platforms, including the Pocket PC.<br /><br />"Enfora's 2.5G modems can deliver information to laptop computers, PDA's and other mobile computing devices at rates up to four times higher than current CDPD wireless modems. In addition to significantly faster access to e-mail, mission-critical files and the Internet, this integrated solution leverages the GSM backbone to provide users with more complete coverage. Enfora's GPRS Enabler-G(TM) modems are scheduled for shipping in the first quarter of 2002."
