Does the PDAmotion Silver Slider 2 fit on the 3800 IPAQ? If so, does it fit good?

Compaq designed the new iPAQ to accept old expansion sleeves. That said, I would assume it works, although I haven't tested it myself.

Their website (http://www.pdamotion.com/product.htm) states:

Silver Slider is a slim, lightweight, and color-matching CF (CompactFlash) expansion pack made exclusively for Compaq iPAQ PDAs. It’s compatible with iPAQ series PDAs, including the new iPAQ 3800 series PDA.

Does that help?

I just purchased an IPAQ 3835 and it is awesome. It is a great improvement over the original IPAQ I had. Ihave to commend COMPAQ for keeping things compatible. Both my Silver Slider 2 and my VaJa case for them both fit perfectly. I now have a 128mb compact flash card and room for another SD car all in a slim PDA. I love it.

I finally got my hands on a 3800 temporarily and had a friend do some testing. He was able to confirm for me posstively that the 3800 and the Silver Slider work together; including the cradle. The arms have to be up, but it does work. There is a small gap, same as with the 3600 and that issue will be dealt with via a new mold.

Thanks,
Kemas

What IBM used to refer to as bug-for-bug compatible
