Can copy-protected eBooks be stored on Compact Flash and MMC cards, or only on Secure Digital cards or in memory? This makes a big difference to me between iPaq and Jornada purchases...

Copyright protected eBooks don't have to be written to a SD card. The encryption is in the file, not in the storage solution.

You can store them pretty much anywhere. I have one (Art of War) on my Ipaq (3850). I also have one on my SD card (Between Silk and Cyanide), great book!

All of mine are on my CF card on my Jornada.
