A manufacturer finally took notice of the increasing number of devices that charge via USB and has been kind enough to finally start integrating that technology into surge protectors/power strips. As an added bonus this one is made nice and small and compact for easy travel use so you aren’t sitting in your miniscule hotel room with two outlets and a laptop, cell phone, camera, iPod, Bluetooth headset, and printer that all need power for charging or for use. You get 3 regular power receptacles and 2 USB ports on the end that provides power."

Very well thought out. I usually travel with a strip outlet because I hate having to plug in my devices all around the room to get enough free outlets. This looks like the perfect solution for the road warrior.
This is definitely one of those "Duh, why didn't someone think of this sooner?" ideas. Looks great!

This is definitely one of those "I gotta get me one" things. I can't tell you how many times I've crawled under desks, beds, behind heavy furniture, etc trying to find one more outlet to use at a hotel. Including the USB ports is just awesome. Why didn't someone think of this before?:):)

Truly, this device needs to be in my laptop case for road trips!

Grrr. I hate posts like this. After following a chain of five "found via" blog entries, I eventually get to Belkin's site all ready to order, only to discover this is vaporware and not available for purchase!

Sigh.

Kind of makes you wish Belkin would simply announce it when they're ready to ship it doesn't it?
