I have been watching both these devices. The thing that is holding me back is the lack of Wi-Fi and the fact that I haven't been able to decide between the two. For the latter scenario this article on pocketnow.com is very useful.

i was facing a similar decision, but when i was offered 4/BJII's (for my kids and me) at $39.00/each after rebate and no contract extension, i went with the BJII. excellent form factor, great call clarity and loudness, the keyboard is not the best i've used, but it's more than capable of meeting my needs, GPS with Garmin Mobile XT works great and to my surprise, battery life with my usage pattern is very good. in fact, i used GPS for a 1.5 hour drive the other day made 25 mins worth of phone calls during the same time and used only 25% of the battery. after having my phone for 2 weeks, i went back to ATT and compared the BJII with the Q9h, but in the end stuck with BJII because of form factor and battery life.
