View Full Version : The Cost of Custom Framing?

So, I swear, the cost of custom framing gets more and more expensive every year - it makes me cringe whenever I get anything framed. I really want to do some 13" x 19" print of some of my sunset photos, but the cost of framing them scares me. Anyone else doing printing at home and cursing the cost of wood and glass?

Hopefully you aren't paying retail! Most places around us (Washington, DC area) routinely offer 30-50% off their published prices. You have to dig up the circulars to get the coupon, though.

If it's a regular-sized frame, yeah, I wait for sales - but I haven't seen custom framing go on sale around here...

I'm talking about custom framing. Here is an example:

This is where we get most of our stuff done.

Apparently so! Next time you are in DC, we'll get all of your pictures framed and order you up a bunch of Amazon MP3s!

Haha...no doubt! I'm going to be in Vegas for CES and I'm already thinking of the things I need to do with an American IP address. ;)
