Quad-core systems will become more commonplace, which will be great for video editing and transcoding. With all of the DVD ripping and video encoding I've been doing the past week or so, I really wish I had more CPU horsepower. As soon as quad-cores hit the sub $200 mark, I'll be upgrading. How about you? Any use for that much power?
