I am in the market for a new digital camera. I'm looking for a compact P&S model, something like a Canon Elph or Nikon CoolPix. I have several large CF cards, so I am loathe to give up CF for SD or SDHC (my current P&S is a Canon PowerShot S410 from 2004 which uses CF). Are there any new cameras that use CF other than DSLRs?

If there's no CF choice, I guess I would like to go with a SDHC-compliant camera. Any recommendations?

TIA,
Dyvim

As you suspect, CF is dead other than in DSLRs. SD is the standard now, but the good news is that Flash memory is so dirt cheap I doubt it would cost much to replace whatever cards you have. All new cameras support SDHC - I haven't seen one that hasn't in a long time, so you can pretty much take your pick of whatever camera you want (though you should check the specs just to make sure).
