Now anyone can afford to create the Color Select effect on their photos with Color Select Studio. Color Select Studio is now available for a fraction of the cost that studios charge to have this effect created. Color Select Studio is easy to use. You need no special skills or talent to create unique Color Select images. It is designed so that even children can create Color Select images without even reading the directions! First, start with a color photograph. You can give any color photo the Color Select effect."

I have seen this effect many times in pictures hanging in photo studios and this is a cool little tool that can help you get just that. Of course, I don't know how often I would truly want it, but for $15 (with the instant discount), it seems like it is worth having the tool around. One thing that seems quite interesting, at least from the screenshots that the site has, is that once you start with the B&W version of your color photo, you get to select objects to revive color in. I guess the software has some smart boundary recognition heuristics that help in picking up objects smartly.
