http://www.cirgon.com/products/mediaframehighlights.htm

"The MediaFrame 100 is a framed 19” wall-hanging LCD display with powerful embedded features that enable you to sort, manage, and edit your digital photos, plus you can combine them with music to create stunning slide shows to share with friends and family. Best of all, Cirgon’s products require no personal computer. Just plug your digital camera or memory card reader directly into either product, copy the images onto the system, sit back on your sofa, and use the Cirgon remote control to sort your treasured memories and share them with your family."

So basically we have a digital picture frame on steroids. It plays MP3's, it has an 80 GB hard drive and DVD burner built in, and comes with a nice frame and remote. BUT, they want nearly $2,000 for this thing. For that price you could easily get a full fledged computer and a nice LCD TV and probably have change left over to have a nice custom frame built for the TV.

$2000? Yow!
For that kind of money you can get one of several *large* flat panel TVs with USB ports or card readers and built-in slideshow capability.
Can't imagine who'd buy that outside of professional athlete circles... ;-)

Well, for that kind of money I would at least expect something bigger than 19". "...just sit back on your sofa..."? Yeah right. Maybe if you live in a trailer.

Besides, the wife would kill me if I brought home a fifth remote.
