Based on the article, both offer quality content, but Corbis costs 30x the amount. The main difference I noted (but it might have just been the photos Wired selected) was that many of the iStockphoto pictures were on plain white backgrounds (which might be a good thing depending on what you were going to use it for) while the Corbis photos tended to have more detailed backgrounds.
