If you haven't already done so, you might want to download the Canon white paper about the Mark III. It's 63 pages and quite informative. I found it linked from a hands-on preview on Imaging Resource: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/E1DMK3/E1DMK3A.HTM The link to the white paper is at the bottom of the preview article. Both are well worth reading. Might make you drool even more :)

Figured it would - it certainly had that effect on me. I don't know how many deposits my local dealer has gotten since I made mine but I know I'll get the first one they get in. One of the hazards of a small market, in this realm, they don't stock the cameras - just special orders. But that's OK, I didn't have to hold one before I knew I wanted it. :)
