The latest development from his new company is today’s launch of Vuguru, an independent studio that will produce and distribute original content for the Internet and emerging digital platforms. Not to step onto YouTube’s territory, Vuguru’s goal is to produce high-quality, story-driven content for the Internet that “up until now could only be found in movie theaters or on television.”"</i><br /><br />I am not a big fan of Disney or Mr. Eisner, but I have to say this is a great idea. The one disadvantage of YouTube is the fact that you can get copy written works, hence the lawsuits a-flying. Vuguru hopes to curb that by just offering original content. Now whether they can actually get enough rights to enough interesting content remains to be seen. I actually wish him all the luck.
