Ok, I am not sure if I am posting in the right place but hopefully someone can help. I just received my Sony KDS-60A2000 1080p HDTV. I have it hooked up to my media center via a DVI to HDMI cable and have underscanned it a bit to fit the screen (1864x1036). The Nvidia 6600 display properties are set to treat the digital display as an HDTV but the options I get at 480p 720p, 1080i, 480i and 576p. Why can't I choose 1080p? I am using the 81.98 Nvidia MCE drivers. I have tried the latest 93.71 drivers but everytime I go to install them it gives me a BSOD with an error about nv4_mini.sys, so I just stuck with the 81.98 drivers. Has anyone else seen this issue? I read over at avsforum here (http://archive2.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=6787193#post6787193) that 1080p seems to be missing after driver revision 77.79. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a very specific question that likely requires someone with the same setup as you to answer...but are you sure that the 6600 supports 1080p? That's a lot of pixels for an older video card. I'd say the only thing to do is email nVidia or the maker of your video card and confirm that the card can actually do 1080p - you might need to upgrade the hardware.
