Normally surveys like these are boring, there’s a reason certain companies pay you to fill them in, but this one was rather interesting. It asked participants how interested they were in certain first party accessories and Live features. Among the subjects was a web browser, a joystick specifically designed for Xbox Live Arcade games, a mini-keyboard you can plug into your controller for text messaging and a black ‘premium’ controller. This survey is no different: it asks the responders if they'd be interested in paying 99 cents for music downloads on their Xbox, $14.99 USD a month for a subscription music service, renting movies for $3.99 a pop, buying them for $19.99 a pop, and a monthly Internet radio subscription for $5.99 a month. There are also some questions about hardware, such as the joystick pictured above. The Xbox team is just feeling out what the market wants, but it's clear where they're headed...and I like it!
