I know documents are probably a stretch to define as digital media, but I figured this is still a good place to pose the question.
I wonder if anyone has made the step to manage their documents digitally?
Generally if I receive a document digitally, then usually it stays digital. And I use a PDF generator to make others digital rather than print to paper.
But my question really pertains to that next step. Meaning taking a hard copy and scanning it for storage.
Often I'm away from home and some company that I deal with needs me to fax some document to them. Well that means I have to go home, get the document, fire up my aging fax machine and send it out.
Currently I'm subsribed to myFax.com and if if was already digital, then I could simply upload it and send it on its way.
So, has anyone made the digital transition? Or is anyone in the process of doing so?
How are you going about it? What are you thoughts?
thanks
