Protected audio converters...

I recently subscribed to Napsters service thinking that it would be a great place to get songs for my new iRiver... but these files just couldn't be placed there... they are copy-protected!!! :?
Is it efficiently to convert songs with special converting tools... i.e. Soundtaxi (http://www.soundtaxi.info) ?

It sounds like your iRiver isn't PlaysForSure compatible, which is needed for the NapsterToGo subscription service you're trying to use. You don't mention what model you have, but have you gone to the iRiver site and checked for a firmware upgrade? Many older players can be made PlaysForSure compatible by upgrading the firmware. If there's no upgrade available for you, unfortunately it means that your MP3 player will never work with Napster.
