Playing DVDs in MCE

So I just built my first MCE PC for a friend of mine. Whenever he goes to play a DVD, it gives him some error about the codec. He has PowerDVD installed, so shouldn't it play DVDs like WMP does? WMP does in fact play the DVDs, just not Media Center. I'm obviously missing something here... Any ideas?

This is a common problem, and underscores how much it SUCKS that Microsoft didn't include an MPEG2 codec in the OS itself.

Install and run this:

Odds are that the PowerDVD codec he's using isn't compatible. Try the nVidia decoder:
