Just got this email from TiVo:

The new TiVo Series2 DT DVR also comes with built-in Ethernet so connecting to your home network is a snap! *Record from two basic cable channels, or one basic cable and one digital cable channel, at once. Does not support recording from two digital cable or satellite channels at once. Supports recording from cable and satellite sources only; does not support recording from over-the-air antenna."

Interesting. It supports digital cable, but only on one tuner. Apparently TiVo couldn't justify the cost of adding a second digital tuner. If you have analog cable service, that's great, you'll be able to use both tuners. If you only have digital cable (like me), then you're screwed. You'll only get one tuner you can use, and neither input supports an Over The Air antenna. In either case, you'll need a cable box from your service provider in order to use those digital channels, since TiVo still doesn't support CableCard. Brilliant. :roll: Close, TiVo, but no cigar. Where is the Series 3 already!?
