We're not going to get into the nitty gritty right here and now, but it sounds like the trick is to get Vista to stop trying to kill the OS X partition when installing with Boot Camp..."</i><br /><br /> <img src="http://www.digitalmediathoughts.com/images/vistaimac7.jpg" /> <br /><br />Somehow I missed this during last week's news cycle, but Vista has been successfully installed on a Mac using Boot Camp. The real question now is whether or not the release version of Vista will install on a Mac, or if Microsoft will take steps to prevent that from happening. Going even deeper...will Apple allow customers to purchase a Mac with Vista on it straight from the factory? If they did, I'd buy one, and I'm certain I'm not the only one.

I'm sure bill gates loves it that his OS is working on macs, more users unless of course any of its security functionality isnt working. I really would bet money that vista will probably actually fascilitate installs on intel macs by release since jobs obviously approves of it and it would take only some tweaking, no where near as close an overhul in code and windows on previouse macs.

now where the hell is that PC version of OSX? ;p
