The HarmonyAudio is also the first audio capture unit powered by Oxford Semiconductors’ 970 chip, widely acknowledge as the leader in FireWire technology."

If you're a budding recording artist, this is where you start: a box that allows you to connect your guitar/bass/kazoo and have it bridge into your PC. These boxes allow for a much higher level of quality than using an adaptor and plugging it into your sound card line-in port. I have an M-Audio USB unit that I use for recording our ThoughtCasts, and it works amazingly well. The device reviewed here looks like a capable unit for the price.
