That, my dear readers, is a photo of what UPS just dropped off for me. I'm embarking on a new PC building project, and this beautiful Raptor X (http://www.westerndigital.com/en/products/Products.asp?DriveID=190) with 150 GB of lavish space and 10,000 RPM of wicked speed will be the blood in the veins of my new PC. The beating heart (CPU) and body (case)? The mystery shall be revealed in due time... :D

That's really cool. Do you have any possibility of comparing it to a western digital regular sata drive?

Hmm. I don't really have access to a large variety of discs, so I'm not sure what kind of tests I'd be able to perform. If you're looking for hardcore benchmarks, this is a great site:

I just want to see some video of that drive in action. (It just wasn't as impressive before the window  )

That might be rather difficult. The PC I'm putting it in won't allow the window to be visible. I have external USB drive devices, but not one for SATA. So, uh, I might not be able to fulfil that request. :?

Don't mount it in the drive rack then. :P
